Updates

We would like to share with you what MACCP is proposing for the upcoming 2019 legislative session. The agenda is compiled from survey results and issues that are brought to our attention. Though this list does not reflect every issue family child care providers have encountered with licensing or DHS, we feel that these items would give us greatly needed positive change.

The legislative session starts on January 8, 2019. We will keep you up to date on bills as they are introduced and move thru the respective committees. Please follow our Facebook page for more frequent updates. It is imperative that providers continue to be active throughout the session, writing e-mails, making phone calls or testifying in person. We must stand together for family child care and the families we serve, to be a voice that cannot be ignored.

We look forward to advocating with you this year.
